ATLAS manufactures and customises high-quality gate valves for a variety of applications. These valves are primarily used to stop and start the flow of liquids. They are used when a straight-through flow path is required or when minimal flow restriction is needed. In most applications, these valves are in either the fully open or fully closed position. When the gate valve is fully open, the disc is completely withdrawn. This leaves an unobstructed flow path for the fluid passing through the gate valve. There will be no obstruction, thus ensuring low friction loss. This type of valve is suitable for various fluid types and provides a consistent seal when closed. You can rely on our unique ATLAS design to create the most efficient gate valves for all your fluid flow requirements.
The valve design allows the plug to be removed without the need to disconnect the body from the pipeline. Furthermore, it permits the replacement of components within the sealing line of the operating shaft without dismantling the valve or its cover. The valve disc is filled with rubber to achieve an excellent sealing effect through the rubber’s flexible deformation. Non-rising, flexible-seated gate valves resolve issues such as leakage and corrosion found in standard gate valves, whilst also saving space in the installation area. They are widely used in the plumbing industry, sewage treatment, transport construction, oil, chemicals, food, pharmaceuticals, textiles, electricity, metallurgy and energy systems to regulate and shut off fluids in pipelines.
