Why Choose ATLAS M-Bus Converters?

ATLAS CNV M-Bus converters are designed to connect heat, water and energy meters reliably to central reading systems. Communication compliant with EN 13757-2 and EN 1434-3 supports networks of different sizes. CNV150 and CNV250 have nominal capacities of 150 and 250 meters respectively; actual capacity must be evaluated against meter M-Bus loads and line conditions.

Galvanically isolated USB helps protect the computer side from electrical risks, while RS232 and USB 2.0 provide direct connection flexibility. Short-circuit and overcurrent protection, audible and LED fault warnings and line-noise filtering support reliable operation.

Connect M-Bus meters to a local reading system

An M-Bus converter provides communication between compatible heat, water or energy meters and the reading computer. ATLAS product information lists CNV150 and CNV250 options. Selection must consider each meter’s M-Bus load and the cable network alongside the total meter count.

For local computer-based meter reading, assess the converter interfaces. ATLAS M-BUS CONVERTER-4G is a separate option for direct MQTT transmission without a computer or external modem. Confirm the GSM hardware and exact CNV150/CNV250 variant during quotation.

Verify meter compatibility

A suitable M-Bus meter interface is required. A standard designation alone does not demonstrate compatibility with every make/model and every data record. Check addressing, reading software and data mapping.
