Connected infrastructure from valve box to control centre.
Battery valve control, LoRaWAN gateways, GSM/cellular backhaul, local BLE access and offline schedule continuity form the communications foundation of smart landscape irrigation.

How to structure the project
Assess valve/coil compatibility and power budgets for ESTRON BLE and BLE–LoRaWAN devices. Survey gateway placement under real field conditions, including closed valve boxes, metal covers, buildings and terrain. Select reporting intervals, battery targets and command latency together.
Within this solution family
Field Irrigation Control Units
Combine two-output field valve control, local programming and central irrigation management with ESTRON BLE and BLE–LoRaWAN infrastructure.
Edge Irrigation Control
An edge-control architecture intended to keep critical irrigation rules available when cloud connectivity degrades.
Long-Range Communications
Remote irrigation communications combining LoRaWAN, cellular connectivity and Bluetooth to suit the site.
Offline Irrigation Control
Irrigation control built around the last valid local schedule during communication loss and controlled resynchronisation afterwards.
Project and acceptance criteria
- Define site assets, device/zone mapping and data sources.
- Verify valve, sensor, gateway and communication compatibility.
- Test data accuracy, alarms and outage behaviour using representative scenarios.
- Handover permissions, maintenance, backup and reporting procedures to the operations team.
Explainable AI, hydraulically constrained optimisation, predictive maintenance and enterprise integration are staged development objectives subject to selected hardware and pilot validation. Standard delivery scope is defined separately in the quotation.
