From field data to controlled irrigation.
Remote irrigation communications combining LoRaWAN, cellular connectivity and Bluetooth to suit the site.
How it works
LoRaWAN connects field devices to the central system through a gateway. Gateway backhaul may use Ethernet or a suitable cellular modem. Direct cellular endpoints depend on hardware and operator support. LoRa is a radio technology; not every LoRa product implements LoRaWAN.
Data used
LoRaWAN coverage; gateway backhaul; packet success rate; data freshness; battery consumption; cellular coverage.

Design and commissioning
Define scope by evaluating site topology, planting and soil, selected devices, sensors and software version together. For retrofit projects, establish valve/coil compatibility, measurement points, communication coverage and operational responsibilities during the survey.
Survey coverage with valve-box lids closed and antennas in their installed positions. Agree data/command latency, battery targets and retry behaviour together.
The next step
Resilient networks using multi-gateway coverage, alternative cellular backhaul and device-class-aware command scheduling.
This section describes development and project-specific integration objectives. It is not a claim of standard product availability or guaranteed performance; implemented functions are defined in the quotation and acceptance criteria.
Applications
Municipal parks, public gardens, university campuses, industrial-zone landscapes, residential estates, hotels, sports facilities and road medians. As zone and site counts grow, standard asset records, traceable actions and measured management become essential.
