A Strategic Visit Connecting Academia, Science and Manufacturing
Erciyes University Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun and Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal, President of TÜBİTAK at the time of the visit, visited Atlas Sayaç ve Ölçü Aletleri in the Mimarsinan Organised Industrial Zone.
The visit aimed to strengthen university–industry cooperation and examine domestic technology production on site. Atlas Sayaç Chairman Serhat Çavdar welcomed the delegation. Prof. Dr. Altun and Prof. Dr. Mandal received detailed information about the company’s production line and R&D activities and explored locally developed solutions for the measuring instruments sector.
The meeting brought science and technology together with manufacturing. Discussions focused on the academic support needed by industry and TÜBİTAK’s outlook for domestic production. The visit, which recognised Atlas Sayaç’s achievements in the sector, concluded with a commemorative photograph and messages about future cooperation.
